I WILL FIND YOU NO MATTER WHERE YOU GO !!!

Hope is your survival
A captive path I lead.

No matter where you go
I will find you
If it takes a long long time
No matter where you go
I will find you
If it takes a thousand years.

No matter where you go
I will find you
In the place with no frontiers
No matter where you go
I will find you
If it takes a thousand years.

KHURSHID KHAN- A TRUE MUSLIM

Mohd. Khurshid Khan is a top ranking law officer of Pakistan based in Peshawar (North West Pakistan), and a crusader for inter-faith harmony. He is known for his humanitarian spirit and zeal for selfless service for the cause of peace and goodwill in Pakistan.

He had sleepless nights after the brutal killing of the members of a minority community in Peshawar. He undertook to voluntary 'seva', (community service) to cleanse his troubled conscientious, but this didn't go well with the conservatives and hard core 'mullahs'.

In March he was in news for his seva for polishing the shoes of devotees and sweeping floors in many gurdwaras including Golden Temple Amritsar (India) which didn't go well back home. According to Khan this 'was to heal the wounds of minorities in Pakistan by becoming their sevadar. For him this was a penance for the crimes against minorities.

The Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) Pakistan issued him a notice for defaming the country abroad, but the notice was never delivered to him after a strong opposition from liberal lawyers.  According to him he was informed by his son about the development. He is said to have instructed him to return the official car assigned to him forthwith. He told that he had done it in his personal capacity and in his own time.

Asma Jahangir a well known social activist and former President of SCBA said “the notice has been issued in a manner that is bigotry'' She was widely supported by many people.

Nasir Mohammad and Ashar questioned the decision saying  '' that a person should not be penalized for his personal decisions which simply showed an attitude of humility, service and respect for people of other faiths?

Another, Syed Hamid Ahmed writes like this"I agree that Deputy Attorney General Khurshid Khan should be honored, he has heart to feel the pain when an innocent human is killed, exactly like Prophet of Islam (peace be upon him) had said “If you kill one innocent man it is like killing whole mankind”.
We all are easily swayed by emotionalism and hatred for all those who don’t agree with us, that is exactly we are taught at schools and in Masjids. Sunni hates Shia, Shia Hates Sunni ,,,, and all collectively hate Hindus, Sikhs, Christians and still we are proud to be Muslims.
Do we follow religion of Peace or Hate?
If it is in my power, I will buy a shoe from a Sikh in Amritsar polished by Khurshid Khan DAG and keep it as a souvenir of Great Islamic Tolerance.

To all those hate mongers, I am a Muslim, I am a Sayyed and I don’t need a certificate of being good Muslim from you, period. It is between me and my Allah.   (emphasis is mine).

Khan claimed that he had been sacked for his support to PPP and told a news channel that recently an ANP activist had threatened him with dire consequences.

“Now, I’ve been released from the golden cage. I will continue to fight against corruption,” he added.

To me he is another Badshah Khan, the sarhadi Gandhi.

May his tribe prosper...Ameen!

KILLING LONELINESS

Nailed to a cross together as solitude begs us to stayWe disappear in the lie foreverAnd denounce the power of death over our soulsAnd secret words are said to start a war
Oh, I'm killing loneliness with youThe killing lonelinessThat turned my heart into a tombI'm killing loneliness!!!

KISAN BABURAO HAZARE - THUNDER to WHIMPER

Kisan Baburao Hazare was born in a poor family. His father was assistant in a pharmacy who struggled to support the large family on his meagre income. A relative took him to Mumbai for his education and upkeep. But he could study only upto class seventh . Eventually he took to selling flowers at Dadar railway station of Mumbai.

During Indo China war of 1962 the Indian Army started emergency recruitment and despite not meeting physical requirements he was attested as a soldier in the same year. He was posted to Khem Karan sector where he was the sole survivor in an aerial attack.

In 1970 while driving an Army vehicle he survived a road crash. He was discharged from Army service in 1975 after completing 12 years of service.

Soon after he returned to his ancestral village Ralegan Sidhi.Although his family owned a small land which was unsuitable for cultivation due to rocky formation of the ground. The small amount of gratuity from his Army service was used by him to restore a dilapidated village temple. He shifted his residence to the temple premises.

Hazare organised a 'tarun mandal' (youth group) to eradicate alcoholism in the village people. They also forced over thirty liquor dens to close down . Those villagers who didn't succumb to social pressure were tied to pillars and flogged sometimes personally by Hazare. It was also decided to ban the sale of tobacco, cigarettes, and beedies (an unfiltered cigarette) in the village. He also promoted Grain Bank and Watershed development In 1991 he started People's Movement against Corruption.

In 2011 he started a Jan Lokpal Andolan (People's Ombudsman Movement) and started a fast at Jantar Mantar in Delhi to press for a formation of a joint committee of the representatives of the Government and the civil society to draft an anti-corruption bill with stronger penal actions and more independence to the Lokpal. The movement attracted attention in the media and thousands joined his cause.

Though he has been praised for his courage but his opponents accuse him of being an RSS member, a right wing Hindu body and of fraud during fasts and irregularities in the accounts of trusts headed and supported by him. He is also accused of being anti democratic, anti Muslim and anti dalit.

Recently on 25th July 2012 he started an agitation in support of his movement and his team members started indefinite fast which he also joined later. But this time the crowds were missing from the venue of his protest. Sensing the dwindling interest of the masses, he declared on 2nd August to end  agitation and announced that he shall be forming a political party to contest in the ensuing elections. This has been welcomed by all the main political parties.

Sadly a movement which had raised the hopes in the minds of many and had started like a thunder has died with a whimper.
