ਬੰਦ ਤਾਕੀਆਂ 'ਚੋਂ ਪਲ੍ਮਦੇ 
ਦੋ ਚਾਨਣਾ ਵਾਂਗ
ਹਨੇਰੀਆਂ ਨੁਕਰਾਂ 'ਚ ਅੱਜ
ਜੋ ਬੁਲ੍ਹ ਮਿਲੇ ਹਨ

ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂ ਚਾਨਣਾ ਦੀ
ਪਛਾਣ ਹੈ !

ਦੋ ਗੁਲਾਬੀ ਪੱਤੀਆਂ ਵਾਂਗ
ਚਿਕੜਾ ਦੀ ਗੋਦ ਵਿਚ
ਜੋ ਦਿਲ ਖਿਲੇ ਹਨ
ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂ

ਕੰਢੇਆਂ ਦੀ ਪਛਾਣ ਹੈ !!

बंद ताकिया  'चों पलम्दे;
दो चानना वांग 
हनेरिआं नुकरां 'च अज्ज 
जो बुल्ह मिले हन

कि उन्हां नु 
चानना  दी पछाण है  ! 

दो गुलाबी पत्तिया वांग 
चिकड़ा दी गोद विच 
जो दिल खिले हन 


कि उन्हां नु 
कन्धयां दी पछाण है !!

snow storms numbing out
our feelings of
tender and warm love!

We have to toil
forget the torn tatters of the past;
Let the morning mist embrace  us
till the vapour becomes our existence!

Don't think of the cold wind;
Get closer,  get cosier,

Share the heat of
the spark in the heart,
light the fire of love;


Let the flames leap,
make a bonfire of pretensions;

Let naked desires
melt drop by drop
into sunshine
of  a new summer!!

On wintry nights
with wet eyes
I have seen 
many skies,
endless shores 
white oceans
foaming furiously 
banging against the rocks!
I have seen  bonfires
of many dreams,
many desires,
in space, and many 
new trials; experiments 
torn to shreds...
Let's go beyond the shores
and mountains with
new wisdom , new light
to worship and love...!

सर्द रातां विच
पुर  नम अखां नाल
मैं देखे हन कई
असमान ;
अंतहीन किनारे
चिट्टे सागर झगो झग्गी
टक्कर मारदे पथरान नाल
मैं देखी है  पुलाड विच  बलदी
कई सप्न्याँ दी होली ;
कई रंगां कई तजुर्बेयाँ
दे परखचे उडदे; फिर वी

मैं अपणे आप नूं
रब्ब समझन दी गलती कीती
कदों अस्सी जावांगे
पहाडा अते लहरा दे उस  पार
नवी अक्ल, नवी समझ नाल
प्यार करन; पूजा करन.
