A beautiful poem, penned by Faiz Ahmed Faiz & rendered by our Melody Queen, Madam Noor Jehan for `Tarannum' (1990). The best thing about this poem is that Madam had composed its tune herself, instantly after hearing it from Faiz Sahab. She had all the nuances of a good learner & listener. It is Faiz's second poem (after `Mujh Se Pehli Si Mohabbat') whose tune was composed by Madam Noor Jehan.
